Eggless Soft Buns
Ingredients :
1 cup of warm milk
1 cup of warm water
10g yeast
Sugar
6 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
Method :
In a bowl add 1 cup of warm milk, 1 cup of water, yeast, and sugar and stir until sugar dissolves and set aside.
In a separate bowl, sift 6 cups of flour and 1 tsp of salt then add the wet ingredients and knead.
Knead for about 10 mins, then add a little bit of butter then continue to knead. Grease your bowl then put your mixture back in the bowl, and cover it with a damp cloth for about 45 mins or until it is double the size.
When it is double the size, make small round balls and place them in a greased pan then cover with a damp cloth and leave it to rise, after 25 mins or so brush with milk then bake in preheated oven at 180° for plus minus 25 mins, when done mix 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of water then brush your buns. Done .. there you have your soft buns.
