Sefako Makgatho University is situated in Ga-Rankuwa (North of Pretoria ), the university is looking for energetic individuals who will take pride in the cleanliness and be responsible for the overall general cleaning duties.

They will report to the Head of Department (HOD): Campus Cleaning and must meet the requirements, and competencies and be responsible for the key performance areas listed below.

Requirements :

Grade 10 / Standard 8 

Free from skin allergies to detergents etc 

At least 2 years experience as a cleaner 

Experience and knowledge regarding the use of cleaning equipment, substances, and chemicals.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 


• Responsible for the cleanliness of allocated areas
• Ensure removal of refuse from allocated areas
• Clean kitchens, fridges, and staff dining areas as allocated
• Clean walls, windows, and staircases 
• Clean and disinfect kitchen, toilet, and bathroom fixtures
• Assist in other areas when required and attend to all reasonable requests made by surveillance
• Ensure compliance with SHE policies and procedures
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager
• Contribute to the overall development of SMU and actively improve institutional culture

  Queen Cakes Recipe Ingredients : 3 cups of cake flour  1/2 cup of sugar  1/2 tsp salt  3 tsp baking powder  2 eggs  1 cup milk  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/2 cup of cooking oil  Method : Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix (dry ingredients ). In a separate bowl add eggs, cooking oil, milk, and vanilla essence and mix (wet ingredients ). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Gently mix the mixture.  In your greased pan fill each baking tray cup with the muffin mixture. Bake at 180° for 15 - 20 mins or until golden brown.

  WORS / SAUSAGE STEW RECIPE Ingredients : Cooking oil Wors / Sausage 1 full Onion 1 Beef stock cube 1 Tsp of Rajah curry powder with garlic 1 Tsp of Rajah mild and spicy 1 Tsp of Six gun 2 Grated Tomatoes 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce A half packet of brown onion soup 250ml of Water 2 tsp of sugar  Instruction : Add cooking oil to  your pot. When the oil is heated up, add your wors/sausage to  your pan and fry. Once your wors is fried, remove it from the pot. Put the pot back on your stove without the wors, add your onion,  and  beef stock cube and mix, then add your rajah mild and spicy spice, rajah carry powder with garlic spice,   six gun spice,  and stir. Add your grated tomato , Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce, and stir  On the side, in your bowl mix brown onion soup with water and add it to your gravy pot and mix then add 2 tsp sugar and mix  Cut your wors into pieces and put them in the gravy mixture and mix. & Enjoy.
