FREEDOM PARK: AUDIT AND RISK INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2023
• Assist with coordination and preparation of quarterly audit file and follow up on audit implementation register which may include work papers, flowcharts, narratives, sampling, and computer-assisted audit preparing techniques.
· Perform follow-up on monthly APP targets evidence files and analyze submitted information.
· With the support of department management, execute aspects of the audit process, including planning, inter-departmental coordination, control testing, work paper documentation, and reporting.
· Obtain a thorough understanding of the company’s operational processes and supporting technologies used to support the user access management program.
· Develop an understanding of key business applications and the business processes they support.
· Assesses risks and the state of controls for entity-wide operations including information system/technology operations (data centers, application systems, development efforts, computing environments/technologies, and telecommunications)
· Thinks strategically and communicates the risks and impact of controls to Audit and Risk office.
· Documents significant processes and tests key control
PREREQUISITES
- Degree/ National Diploma in Internal Audit, Public Administration, or Accounting/Financial Management.
Competency in the following:
- Computer literacy (MS Office; database; Internet)
