Minimum Required Qualification:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Educational Certificate, with Pure Mathematics and English Communication to be accepted onto a Learner Official Certificate Programme 

• Achieve a psychometric evaluation outcome score of 4 or higher 

• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre.

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Applicants who have the highest academic results for Pure Mathematics and English in Grade 12

• Applicants who have completed a higher education qualification in mining (BSc Degree or Diploma)

• Applicants who achieve a psychometric evaluation outcome score of 5 or higher 

Additional Requirements:

• Shortlisted applicants will need to undergo an interview process, psychometric assessment, and screening, which will be considered during the allocation of learnerships 

• The selection process will not be delayed to accommodate applicants whose screening process is delayed for whatsoever reason.

• Applicants must upload their CV, certified (SAPS) copies of ID, and qualifications online 

• Incomplete applications will not be considered for selection 

Key Responsibilities:

• Learner Official - Supervisor Operations Certificate Underground Hard Rock (NQF Level 4)

• Learners acquiring this qualification will be equipped with the required competencies to supervise safe and efficient blasting and other associated activities in an underground environment

  Queen Cakes Recipe Ingredients : 3 cups of cake flour  1/2 cup of sugar  1/2 tsp salt  3 tsp baking powder  2 eggs  1 cup milk  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/2 cup of cooking oil  Method : Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix (dry ingredients ). In a separate bowl add eggs, cooking oil, milk, and vanilla essence and mix (wet ingredients ). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Gently mix the mixture.  In your greased pan fill each baking tray cup with the muffin mixture. Bake at 180° for 15 - 20 mins or until golden brown.

  WORS / SAUSAGE STEW RECIPE Ingredients : Cooking oil Wors / Sausage 1 full Onion 1 Beef stock cube 1 Tsp of Rajah curry powder with garlic 1 Tsp of Rajah mild and spicy 1 Tsp of Six gun 2 Grated Tomatoes 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce A half packet of brown onion soup 250ml of Water 2 tsp of sugar  Instruction : Add cooking oil to  your pot. When the oil is heated up, add your wors/sausage to  your pan and fry. Once your wors is fried, remove it from the pot. Put the pot back on your stove without the wors, add your onion,  and  beef stock cube and mix, then add your rajah mild and spicy spice, rajah carry powder with garlic spice,   six gun spice,  and stir. Add your grated tomato , Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce, and stir  On the side, in your bowl mix brown onion soup with water and add it to your gravy pot and mix then add 2 tsp sugar and mix  Cut your wors into pieces and put them in the gravy mixture and mix. & Enjoy.
