Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12) plus a Bachelor’s Degree or/ Three (3) Years National Diploma.
• At least two (2) years of experience in basic software programming and IT-related support.
• Knowledge of ITS or PeopleSoft will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of University Academic Programs will be an added advantage
• Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate the work of teams and adhere to procedure and protocol and have a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
Skills
• Knowledge of IT.
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML)
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Troubleshooting IT-related problems.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good time management and coordination Skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and able to adhere to set deadlines
• Students’ admission requirements, policies, and guidelines.
• Knowledge of the University environment.
• Ability to handle student queries.
• Good decision-making and supervisory skills.
• Report writing skills.
Duties and responsibilities
The incumbent will be required to
Monitor, maintain, and improve the online application system.
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the Application Ranking System (ARS)
• Assist the Enrolment Management Department with planning and organization of activities in the department.
• Ensures timeous response to queries and inquiries.
• Assist with compiling departmental reports
• Assist with compiling admission information brochures/ Prospectus.
• Ensures that work is done by policies, procedures, and practices.
• Co-ordinate work activities and supervise staff in the section.
