Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an exciting opportunity for a Health Graduate. The candidate will be required to provide administrative support to the Dis-Chem Health operations team to ensure the successful delivery of Health Insurance and related products, including rewards programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

  • Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
  • Undergraduate Degree.
Advantage:
  • 1-year experience in the Health industry. Interest and passion in the Health Care Industry.


Job Specification:

Health Operations

  • Provide operational support to the Dis-Chem Health and Kaelo Operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of Health Insurance projects.
  • Assist in managing operational aspects of the rewards programme for Dis-Chem Health policyholders.
  • Assist with internal projects for the successful delivery of policyholder healthcare benefits with Retail, Dispensary, and Clinics teams.

Customer Service

  • Responsible for providing and maintaining efficient and quality customer service through consultation.
  • Refer to management for any escalated customer inquiries in an efficient manner.

General

  • Housekeeping must be by Dis-Chem standards.
  • Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations

Competencies:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of Health Practices and Principles.
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Quality Orientation
  • English – Read, write, and speak fluently

  Queen Cakes Recipe Ingredients : 3 cups of cake flour  1/2 cup of sugar  1/2 tsp salt  3 tsp baking powder  2 eggs  1 cup milk  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/2 cup of cooking oil  Method : Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix (dry ingredients ). In a separate bowl add eggs, cooking oil, milk, and vanilla essence and mix (wet ingredients ). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Gently mix the mixture.  In your greased pan fill each baking tray cup with the muffin mixture. Bake at 180° for 15 - 20 mins or until golden brown.

  WORS / SAUSAGE STEW RECIPE Ingredients : Cooking oil Wors / Sausage 1 full Onion 1 Beef stock cube 1 Tsp of Rajah curry powder with garlic 1 Tsp of Rajah mild and spicy 1 Tsp of Six gun 2 Grated Tomatoes 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce A half packet of brown onion soup 250ml of Water 2 tsp of sugar  Instruction : Add cooking oil to  your pot. When the oil is heated up, add your wors/sausage to  your pan and fry. Once your wors is fried, remove it from the pot. Put the pot back on your stove without the wors, add your onion,  and  beef stock cube and mix, then add your rajah mild and spicy spice, rajah carry powder with garlic spice,   six gun spice,  and stir. Add your grated tomato , Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce, and stir  On the side, in your bowl mix brown onion soup with water and add it to your gravy pot and mix then add 2 tsp sugar and mix  Cut your wors into pieces and put them in the gravy mixture and mix. & Enjoy.
