Paid, six-month-long internship opportunity. Are you someone who knows the difference between TikTok, a reel, and BeReal? We are looking for a self-motivated social media intern to join our team; someone with an eye for aesthetics and detail, and who eats, sleeps, and breathes all things social media. The successful candidate will work closely with the social media manager and support social media publishing, administrative tasks, and community management.

Requirements
A qualification in marketing, media, or a relevant field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
An individual who takes initiative, with a drive to go the extra mile and deliver on tasks to the best of their ability.
Own computer and transport.
An understanding of different social media channels, especially Instagram, Facebook, and/or TikTok, and their features.
Previous experience in managing social media accounts.
Willingness to respond to followers’ comments and questions after hours.
Familiarity with social publishing tools, and photography/videography editing tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Support the creation of content (captions, images, stories, and short videos) for social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Respond to comments and queries and engage with the Babylonstoren community across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and TripAdvisor in a professional and timely manner.
Escalate queries to customer service or the relevant department as needed.
Assist with day-to-day administrative duties.
Stay up to date with social media trends and assist the team with monthly reporting.

  Queen Cakes Recipe Ingredients : 3 cups of cake flour  1/2 cup of sugar  1/2 tsp salt  3 tsp baking powder  2 eggs  1 cup milk  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/2 cup of cooking oil  Method : Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix (dry ingredients ). In a separate bowl add eggs, cooking oil, milk, and vanilla essence and mix (wet ingredients ). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Gently mix the mixture.  In your greased pan fill each baking tray cup with the muffin mixture. Bake at 180° for 15 - 20 mins or until golden brown.

  WORS / SAUSAGE STEW RECIPE Ingredients : Cooking oil Wors / Sausage 1 full Onion 1 Beef stock cube 1 Tsp of Rajah curry powder with garlic 1 Tsp of Rajah mild and spicy 1 Tsp of Six gun 2 Grated Tomatoes 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce A half packet of brown onion soup 250ml of Water 2 tsp of sugar  Instruction : Add cooking oil to  your pot. When the oil is heated up, add your wors/sausage to  your pan and fry. Once your wors is fried, remove it from the pot. Put the pot back on your stove without the wors, add your onion,  and  beef stock cube and mix, then add your rajah mild and spicy spice, rajah carry powder with garlic spice,   six gun spice,  and stir. Add your grated tomato , Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce, and stir  On the side, in your bowl mix brown onion soup with water and add it to your gravy pot and mix then add 2 tsp sugar and mix  Cut your wors into pieces and put them in the gravy mixture and mix. & Enjoy.
