Job Purpose
Bidvest International Logistics has an opportunity for Abled and PWD (People Living with Disabilities) Learners to join the learnership program.


If you want to gain experience and qualification in the Freight and Logistics industry, this Learnership opportunity is for you. Our offices are national; Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape. 


This qualification is a 12-month program and is a registered qualification through TETA (Transport Education and Training Authority).


BIL has been providing logistics sector-based learnerships for an extended number of years and has graduated a significant number of learners during this time.

Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 senior certificate or equivalent   

- Must be a South African citizen

- Between the ages of 18 and 35

- Must be available and committed to working full-time for 12 months

- Individuals should have an avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry


Key Responsibilities
- Be committed to a 12-month Learnership program which will comprise theoretical and practical components within 3 divisions

- All modules will be completed on the BIL eLearning Platform and a portfolio of evidence to be completed and submitted upon completion of the qualification

Skills & Competencies
- Be self-reliant

- Determined and committed

- Accountable and responsible for managing self, i.e.: stipend and studies

- Be professional within BIL's corporate environment, i.e.: appearance, behavior communication

- Basic computer literacy

  Queen Cakes Recipe Ingredients : 3 cups of cake flour  1/2 cup of sugar  1/2 tsp salt  3 tsp baking powder  2 eggs  1 cup milk  1 tsp vanilla essence  1/2 cup of cooking oil  Method : Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and mix (dry ingredients ). In a separate bowl add eggs, cooking oil, milk, and vanilla essence and mix (wet ingredients ). Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Gently mix the mixture.  In your greased pan fill each baking tray cup with the muffin mixture. Bake at 180° for 15 - 20 mins or until golden brown.

  WORS / SAUSAGE STEW RECIPE Ingredients : Cooking oil Wors / Sausage 1 full Onion 1 Beef stock cube 1 Tsp of Rajah curry powder with garlic 1 Tsp of Rajah mild and spicy 1 Tsp of Six gun 2 Grated Tomatoes 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce A half packet of brown onion soup 250ml of Water 2 tsp of sugar  Instruction : Add cooking oil to  your pot. When the oil is heated up, add your wors/sausage to  your pan and fry. Once your wors is fried, remove it from the pot. Put the pot back on your stove without the wors, add your onion,  and  beef stock cube and mix, then add your rajah mild and spicy spice, rajah carry powder with garlic spice,   six gun spice,  and stir. Add your grated tomato , Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce, and stir  On the side, in your bowl mix brown onion soup with water and add it to your gravy pot and mix then add 2 tsp sugar and mix  Cut your wors into pieces and put them in the gravy mixture and mix. & Enjoy.
