DEPARTMENT OF HOME AFFAIRS IN COLLABORATION WITH PSETA : 2023 CADET LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME
DURATION: 12 MONTHS CONTRACT
STIPEND: R4 500.00 PER MONTH

The Department of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Public Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) invites applications for the 2023 Cadet Learnership Programme. This is a Youth Development Empowerment initiative that supports the National Development Plan’s idea of formalized recruitment schemes that through theoretical training and experiential learning, allow unemployed youth of South Africa to gain skills, knowledge, and experience whilst at the same time, positioning themselves for active and meaningful participation in the labour market. The Cadet Learnership Programme is comprised of both theoretical and practical components aimed at training on the National Certificate: Home Affairs Services which exposes learners to the core business of the Department (Civic Services and Immigration Services). Preference will be given to youth who reside within proximity of the office where the post is based.
Note: Applications must be made on a signed and dated Z83 Application for Employment Form obtainable from any Public Service Department or Government website (www.dpsa.gov.za), accompanied by a Comprehensive CV as well as certified copies of the applicant’s Grade 12 certificate and Identification Document; Should an applicant have a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation Certificate obtained from SAQA. Successful candidates will be subjected to pre-employment screening and security checks. Learners who previously participated in a Public Service Learnership Programme will not be considered.

• Aged between 18 to 35 years;
• A Grade 12 Certificate
